Q: Remove app from notification centre

I uninstalled an app earlier this week (NTFS by Paragon), but it's left its Paragon Updater in Notification Centre preferences and I cannot find how to remove it. Spent, probably the best part of two hours talking to Apple, trying terminal instructions and various things, but it won't go. The app no longer exists on the computer and produces no notifications

Try this — in your Library, find the folder Application Support. This is the path you'd take: yourusername --> Library --> Application Support. Open that folder. Do you see any folder contained therein with the words "Paragon" or "Paragon Updater" in them anywhere?

Apple support guy suggested that too. Unfortunately, that folder has been removed from El Capitan

There is no folder with the application name but it is still listed in the notification center
