Q: How can I replace my old Apple ID to new Apple ID on my iphone please ?

I gave away my old iphone when I was travelling to Asia recently and I was carelessly enter my Apple ID to my old phone and it was replaced with new email address of my friend. The problem is the email address was not even created and when I tried to get back my Apple ID, the message I got was check the new email which I have no way of checking as the person who input the email address to my old iphone don't even know how to log in to her email address.

 

When I come back to Toronto, I was advised to create a new Apple ID as I can't do any update on all the Apps on my iphone 5s. So now I have new Apple ID set up and is working. I deleted all the Apps on my iphone which were installed under my old Apple ID.

 

The problem I have now is my Apple Store on my iphone. I need to update Apple Store to version3.6. When I tried to update, my Apple ID still showing my old Apple ID which was no longer valid. How can I replace the old Apple ID to new Apple ID for Apple Store on my iphone please.

    The apps and facilities that were created under the original AppleID will remain with that ID for updating purposes.   You cannot merge IDs.  

    You can forget one and start another (with a different email address) but those items purchased under the new ID can only be updated using that ID.
