Q: Another Windows- bootcamp won't start after installing OSX Yosemite

Anyone that can help, special attention T Loner:

Additionally my mac was configured with a MAC Partition, a Media Partition (I used this to share my iTunes media between both OS), and finally my bootcamp partition.

When I upgraded to Yosemite I completely lost access to my bootcamp, and an message appeared "No bootable drive". I searched thru a lot of your forms to try and attempt to find a solution and at one point I found this threadRepairing Boot Camp after creating new partition and I followed these steps:

Enter '7'

Press Return Key

Enter 'flag 4'

Press Return Key

Enter 'p'

Press Return Key

Enter 'w'

Press Return Key

Enter 'y'

Press Return Key

Now I am still unable to load bootcamp and I have a different black screen "non-system disk press any key to reboot"

I think I maybe may have set myself back more by following the above directions.

Here's the terminal:

You have 5 partitions. The set of steps you have executed assumes that your GPT 4 entry is the Windows entry. In your case, it is GPT5. You will have to build a new hybrid MBR, but you will lose visibility to the OS X partition. You will have to use your shared partition "Media" to move files between OS X and Windows.

See the solution steps in My Windows partition is not bootable after create a new partition to create a new hybrid MBR with GPT 3 4 5 . You will need to download GPT Fdisk.

    Thank you,

Lets say I didn't care about the Media and Bootcamp drive, what would I do to delete those two partitions and make one big partition again? Maybe Ill just bring my computer back to a normal state with just OS X. Down the road I would like the ability to re-install bootcamp.

    Thanks again.

I suggest you backup Media, files that you need from Bootcamp. Backup OS X using Time Machine. Boot into Internet Recovery, erase your internal disk and restore from the OS X backup on TM.
