Q: Why in the **** cant I request a desktop site by holding down the refresh icon like everyone else's iPhone seems to do except mines I need answers

why cant I hold down the refresh icon of a webpage and request the desktop version of a website , I can't do it using the other way of pressing the box with the arrow key pointing upward at the bottom of the screen , this is ruining my online Xmas shopping
