Dec 11, 2015 12:56 PM in response to s2975by Telexx,I having the same identical problem with skipping tracks in Tidal, or using my Pioneer radio in the car that I have been for years.
Apple's quality control for patches is beyond abysmal lately. It's asinine that the quality of their support is this bad.
Apple, please give us an ETA for a fix, and not "restore your phone". This needs to be patched asap.

Dec 13, 2015 9:45 AM in response to s2975by noeanne,I talked to Apple Support on the phone Friday night and the man told me to restore my phone and I asked him if that didn't work what is the next option and he told me "Well luckily you still have Apple Care." I told him I have read on their forums that a lot of people are having the same issue and my brand new phone is not the problem, and he told me he will put that in his notes and the people in charge of software read his notes and if a lot of people are having the same issue, hopefully they can fix it. Not holding my breath for that.

Dec 14, 2015 8:57 AM in response to s2975by galaxyfarawayR2D2,Spent hours on the phone with Apple Care after paying $1200 for a new phone which will not connect with my car Blue Tooth. My prior phone had iOS 9.1 and connected to my car's bluetooth easily. This phone has iOS 9.2. I know there were problems with iOS 8 having this issue. After several attempts at troubleshooting, the tech on the phone suggested I upgrade my firmware on my car. When I told him others are having this issue and the problem is with the updated iOS, he couldn't get off the phone fast enough. He tried to set me up with an in-store appointment, but the people in the store won't come out to my car. He was extremely curt and would not entertain the possibility that it is the updated iOS with the issue. If he would simply report this so that it can be fixed, that would have been something. But he refused to acknowledge this as a possibility. If the programmers at Apple are not made aware of this issue, how can it be fixed? I really need the bluetooth to work with my car. The bluetooth on the phone works with my television, just not my car anymore.
It wasn't giving me the passcode to enter on my car, but my car was seeing it, and the phone showed MB. After resetting network settings, per the tech, my phone no longer saw my car, but my car saw my phone. (I deleted all other phones.) After resetting everything, per the the tech, my car no longer sees the phone. So yeah, after paying for the more expensive AppleCare (it costs more for the iPhone 6splus) it is now worse.
Is there any way Apple will take responsibility and provide an upgrade to resolve this issue?
Thank you in advance, if you provide assistance to resolve this issue or provide another update to resolve this issue of at least let your developers/programmers know about this issue so they can work on another update that will handle this issue (and don't delete this message, because I have noticed that is what has been happening to anyone posting honest issues with Apple not assisting.)

Dec 14, 2015 9:10 AM in response to galaxyfarawayR2D2by noeanne,I had to downgrade my software and restore 9.1 back onto my phone for my bluetooth to work properly. I emailed the person I had been working with through Apple Support and told him that was the only thing that worked (he suggested restoring my phone would work, it didn't) and he said he would "submit feedback" so they are aware, but if they aren't aware there is a problem by now, we have bigger issues.

Dec 14, 2015 9:35 AM in response to noeanneby galaxyfarawayR2D2,Hi Noeanne,
I specifically asked for assistance to downgrade my phone back to 9.1 (they made me upgrade it at the store when I purchased it) and was told by "Jason" the tech support guy that downgrades were not possible. Yes, that is what my AppleCare money is going towards. I realize you do not work for Apple, but if you could explain to me how to downgrade my software (did you lose your information, apps, etc. when you did this?) or tell me who to ask for at AppleCare (since apparently not everyone knows this is possible) I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.

Dec 14, 2015 12:15 PM in response to galaxyfarawayR2D2by noeanne,I posted a more elaborate response, however, it was taken down because it violated their policies apparently. So, just google how to do it, and you will find it!

Dec 15, 2015 8:02 PM in response to lkloepferby KJ49,9.2 messed up the BT on my '15 Silverado and '16 Corvette (8" mylink systems). After a BT phone call it starts playing music from the phone no matter what mode it was in prior to the call.. HPF prompts in maps (both apple and google) is messed up as well, after it 'speaks' it goes back to playing the phone music. Wiped the phone, went back to 9.1 and it worked fine, then updated back to 9.2 and it started screwing up again.
Back to 9.1 until 9.2.1 gets released

Dec 17, 2015 12:35 PM in response to s2975by janajohan,I have the same issue after upgrading my iphone 5s to latest ios. Mine is connected to a parrot carkit and it still connects fine. As soon as i make a phone call it does not want to play any audio through the parrot speaker. If i switch audio to phone or loudspeaker of iphone it works but not if i have the parrot selected. Weirdly as well is if i use google maps for gps and enable navigation through bluetooth it works fine and also if i play music through another bluetooth speaker. It seems that it only is broken for the phone app and not the rest. Would like to get help on how to fix this issue.

Dec 21, 2015 8:58 AM in response to s2975by BecV73,Both my daughter and myself drive 2015 Chevys and have the issue of it going straight to our music library anytime we try using our phones in the car. Even as a passanger and surfing social media will cause it to switch to our music library. Apple needs to come out with a fix asap!!! i ended up disableing the Bluetooth for now. it is better than trying to fight with your radio when a call comes in.

Dec 22, 2015 4:21 AM in response to noeanneby chazcron,The "using Siri while connected to Bluetooth in my car triggers iTunes auto play on IOS 9.2" is obviously a real thing. I did a Google search and downgraded to IOS 9.1. However, the 9.2 backup I had just created was not visible for restore. In fact, the most current one was from last February.
Could some try IOS 9.2.1 Beta and see if the fix is in?
