Q: Aperture or iPhoto for features

I have used Aperture for a few years and am not sure if it has more usable features than iPhoto. What is the consensus of both Apps?

Aperture 3, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Clearly Aperture has many more features than iPhoto - iPhoto is a free consumer program and Aperture is a fairly expensive professional program - of course both are at the end of their lives as Apple has stopped development on both of them (iPhoto 9.6.1 and Aperture 3.6 at the last releases) - only Photos will be updated in the future

Thanks I was afraid of that. Any idea how to import all my photos from Aperture into Photo? I have been unable to accomplish this.

Drag the Aperture library to the Photos icon in the Dock to migrate it

and read this for details on the migration - How Photos handles content and metadata from iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support

If that is not working then your have to provide details including exact, complete error messages and any other information that would help a total stranger who can not see you answer your question
