Q: Timeline images (photoshop) are showing as blue, why?

I creat a video with photoshop files placed over a video. The video worked fine. I upgraded my OS and now when I open the file I see bright blue images where the photoshop files are placed in the timeline. I relinked the files even though they are not missing. I also make small tweaks so that I could render them again. But they show up blue. If I replace the clip I lose all of my keyframes. Does anyone know of a fix to help show the real image versus this blue?

You do have a blue "face" in the browser, but the thumbnails in the timeline seem to correspond to the face you marked in your screenshot.

Did you edit some of these in Photoshop while they were being used in FCP X?

Fortunately there is an easy way to keep all your keyframes:

    1) select the clip on the timeline, press Command-C to copy

    2) replace the clip (drag over the clip on the timeline, choose replace from start)

    3) Command-Shift-V to Paste Attributes

Thanks Luis, the pasting of attributes fixed it easily. I have a feeling that when I "forced quit" before the background tasks where done It must of messed something up but your fix worked and saved me a ton of time. Thank you!
