Q: Family sharing and creating local blog/website

Hello...

I have been searching online and haven't found what I'm looking for...maybe I'm using the wrong terminology in my query. I'm hoping it's something already available and I just don't know where to find it on the machine...

We have an iMAC with the recent update.
I want to create a family blog on the iMAC, that would "feel" like a website -- where I can post family updates, calendar, news, school grades and achievements, photos, a family journal, recipes, etc...each topic under a different heading, that open as browser tabs, to avoid from having to open different apps for all this information. But I want everything to reside on our family computer. It would be accessed directly from the machine at home, nothing online.

I am familiar with wordpress.com, but again, I want to keep this contained to just us.

I'm figuring with the family sharing and iCloud, Apple has something that does what I'm looking for but I'm just asking the wrong question.
