If you are wanting to add your Phone Number to Apple ID follow these steps:
Sign in to iMessage:
- Tap Settings > Messages > Send & Receive.
- Tap Use your Apple ID for iMessage. Then sign in with your Apple ID. Use the same Apple ID as your iPhone.
- Select the phone number and email addresses that you want to be reached at.

There is no phone number to select i want to be reached.
And it's only giving me the option to add another email address.When i reset my phone and linked my apple ID to the phone ON the phone, it didn't attach my number with it. just my apple id email address.

Go to Settings>Messages>Then see if your Number is there. If it isn't there then I am unsure what the problem is and I would contact Apple Support.

If your phone number is missing on your iPad or iPod touch
Sign out of iMessage and FaceTime on all of your iOS devices:
- Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
- Go to Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Sign back in to iMessage and FaceTime on all of your iOS devices:
- Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap Use your Apple ID for iMessage. Then sign back in with your Apple ID.
- Go to Settings > FaceTime. Tap Use your Apple ID for FaceTime. Then sign back in with your Apple ID.

Vodafone can't help and can't get through toApple -arghhh!

Go to settings down to second phone icon click on that check phone number at the top of page had correct number .
