Dec 15, 2015 1:00 PM in response to nousernamechosenby Brett L,Greetings nousernamechosen,
It sounds like the Mail app on your iPhone, when checking for one particular account, never completes the check, while other mail accounts work without issue. Is that correct?
I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article - Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Be well.

If you have not already, I would suggest from the referenced article completing this section -
First steps
Follow these steps first:
- To make sure that you're connected to the Internet, open Safari and go to www.apple.com.
- Log in to your email provider's website and make sure that the account is active and that you're using the right password.
- Check your email settings.
- Restart your iOS device.
- Remove the affected email account from your device with these steps:
- Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap the email account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Add your account again.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Happy computing.

Dec 16, 2015 6:49 AM in response to Brett Lby nousernamechosen,I've done that also. It fixes the problem for 2 hours before the checking mail gets stuck again. I have to delete/re-add the account multiple times each day just to check my email. It doesn't fix the problem permanently.
