Q: When I authorize a guest account, to login the keyboard changes from QWERTZ to AZERTY. How can I fix this?

When using multiple user account, guest or a different created account, at startup each account has a password, but at startup, the key board changes from the only one which is QWERTZ to AZERTY !! How to repair this bug?

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

Each account can have its own keyboard layout.

Just log in to that account, go to System Preferences->Keyboard->Input Sources and set it to the layout you want (I suppose German?).

For the Guest account, however, this will not stick, since all settings are lost when you log out. Not sure what you could do about that.

Actually, even if I do not activate any guest account and just put a password on my administrators account, the same thing happens!! So I am stuck with using a password that only has numbers. When this is done, all is all right, and I only have one keyboard installed, and it is French. But the propblem is between QWERTZ ans AZERTY!!! Thanks anyway.

I think this knowledge base article may be just what you need.

The instructions for Lion should work as well in El Capitan.

Edit: I tried on my mac and it works. A menu appears at the top right that allows me to change the keyboard layout.
