Q: icloud not backing up
I have an iphone 5s, currently running iOS 9.2 (all updated). I have had difficulties backing up to icloud for months now. When I get a new phone, I always set the settings to auto backup. I have no idea when it started, but sometime around August 2015, I noticed that my phone was not backing up. I started getting an error that my iphone wasn't backed up. Since then, I have not been able to get it to backup to icloud. I have plenty of space, and my ipad backs up without issue. I've since deleted the old back up I had to try and start over, so my iphone now says it hasn't been backed up in over 64 weeks! I used to think it was internet related, as I've had spotty internet at times, but I'm on a new network with no issues. I've signed out of icloud and signed back in, tried manually backing up etc. It always says "the backup couldn't be completed." Under icloud it says it's never had a backup.
Any suggestions you all know to try? I've tried searching the forums and just haven't found the answer that might work.
