Q: I hooked up airport express to play music through my sterio.  We are now having trouble with several apple products accessing the internet through our Comcast wireless network.  Any suggestions?

    If your goal is to use your AirPort Express for streaming, then let's first make sure that you have it configured as a wireless client. Is it? As a wireless client it would perform as any other client on the network and should not be providing its own Wi-Fi network.

    it would not connect via Ethernet cable so i connected through our comcast wi-fi

    Ok, thanks for the update ... but you didn't answer my question. By default, the Express will perform as a wireless Internet router. That would mean you would potentially have two wireless routers running on your network. The other being provided by the Comcast device. This would cause conflicts and potentially why you are having the issue that you posted about.

     

    So, please review the linked support article and post back your results.
