Q: Partitioning SSD & FCPX
Switching to SSD on an editing system and will be installing FCPX on the SSD.
From what I'm reading, it seems its best to *not* partition the SSD and that with these drives it's no longer standard practice to keep, as example, one partition for applications, documents etc and another partition for media files, music, stills, scratch disk etc?
Just wanted to check-in here and get some confirmation or correction and/or dueling opinions.
Please and thank you so much for your expert insight.
OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), MacPlus, Quadra, G3, etc etc...

Partitioning drives in this way has been obsolete for many years. Completely unnecessary in any type of drive now. Really only need to partition to create separate formatting or OS segments.
