Q: Where can I find a deleted iPhone backup in Yosemite ? OSX10.105

All, I deleted a backup to an iphone on accident. Now I can't seem to find it in time machine. Where are these files and how can I restore it to show up in my Preferences in iTunes to resync ?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.2

Try this location on your main internal drive: /users/Your Name/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup. Replace "Your Name" with your name.

    From the Time Machine

    Finder>Go>Go to Folder

    copy and paste:

    ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup

select your backup(s) and Restore  or the entire Folder if you choose

    ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/

There is no Application Support file after Name/Library.

Thank you guys, but neither of those solutions seemed to work. The only files that appear in time machine are the iphone backups currently in itunes, and those aren't the ones I need.

I was in itunes preferences, then in devices, and accidentally hit the wrong backup to delete.

I want to do a System Restore to a date in the past, but I'm sure if that will work either.

Thats a bit odd. Make sure to navigate to your Home folder, right click anywhere on the white area inside the folder, select show view options, and make sure that you check the "Show Library Folder" now try the same path again and you should have an applications folder.

I found my backup in this directory myself.
