Q: Help with my iPhone 6s!! Battery life?!?

I bought the new iPhone 6s and my battery life is pretty bad. I have my settings on auto brightness. Did all the recommendations the tech support told me to do with Verizon. I do not use it a lot for it to be dying so quickly. Does anyone have the same issue or have any recommendations on what I might can do to fix the issue. I absolutely love the phone besides, I need power! Thanks apple lovers!

You're welcome. You don't need to run the battery to shutdown before charging, though you should do that once a month or so to maintain calibration of the battery meter.

Settings > Battery > Battery Usage will show which apps are draining the battery.

Yes of course, my battery life lasts typically only up to two hours. Then it goes to power safe mode and then almost dead. Then I am charging it constantly. Does that help?

Not knowing what steps you actually tried: start with this:

1. Double click the home button to show the App switcher and slide up all the preview panes to close all apps
2. Reset phone (no data loss): press both the home and lock buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears/
3. Run phone, and if still draining battery quickly: Settings > Battery > report apps using the battery.

Thank you so much. I never knew about double taping the home button and sliding the apps up. Also how to restart the phone, so do I need to run the battery dead and then charge it. Then if still quickly dying ***** the report on why? Just making sure I was understanding you correctly. You are a great help!

Hi Ashluv !
To restart the phone Press the Power button and the home button together for about 10 seconds until the apple logo appears.
And then leave it it will come back to homescreen
