Dec 19, 2015 10:00 AM in response to dforguesby FoxFifth,iCloud Drive data is encrypted but it is totally unrelated to FileVault. For example, my MacBook has FileVault activated but I can easily go to a Windows computer and log in to iCloud.com and access my iCloud Drive data there without entering my FileVault information. I also use a non-Apple cloud backup service and that is similar -- they encrypt my data but FileVault is not involved.

Dec 19, 2015 10:05 AM in response to FoxFifthby dforgues,Thank you for the info, but iCloud has only a 128bits encryption, the only way to increase the security is to link it to an App BoxCryptor ?
