Q: What happened to Logic Pro 9?

I dont want to spend money on Logic Pro X, I just want Logic Pro 9, where did it go? Its no longer available in the App Store, I need to put it on my New MacBook Pro. I paid for it on my iMac and now need it on my MacBook Pro, both of which I own. Any help out there? James

    Hi

Make sure that you are signed in to the Store with the account you used to originally buy LP9. It should then appear under the Purchased button.

I definitely own Logic 9, tho. I think I bought it at the Apple Store in DVD/box format. Could this be right? Was Logic 9 sold both as a retail box and on the App Store as a download? Logic 9 was sold two different ways, the boxed version and around 2012, online.

Upgrading the boxed set is different, it won't show up online as an app store purchase, you install it from the DVD then use "Software Upgrade" to get the latest version.
