Q: ipad disfunction?

my ipad has suddenly started reversing the image on its screen every time I do another 'task' on there. Example, tapping onto the safari icon to get to this website, it  turn the image on the screen completeky upside down, totally reversing this, and as someone who has probl with focusing with my eyes, this is really affecting me. Any ideas as to how to stop this happening and keep the screen 'stable' to prevent it doing this..?

also, the keyboard on my ipad, sometimes when I press on the letters etc, a sort of grey bar, I believe it is, pops up, for no reason, which again disturbs my eye coordination, causing me a bit of a problem here. Don't recall this happening previously with this keyboard. Again, any suggestions on how to solve this by preventing this from doing that..?

Try turning on orientation lock: If the screen doesn't rotate on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Also try turning off the predictive keyboard. Settings>general>keyboard>predictive. I think that may be the grey bar you are talking about.

Thanks for this advice. Did solve the rotating issue earlier, by going to another's question on that one, and the answers supplied there.

As for turning off the predictive keyboard, I've just done that, so I'll see over the course of the next day or two whether this solves that problem. Thanks for these answers. I'll jot them down in case they happen again...!

You are welcome. Another thing that may help is turning on reduce motion. Settings>general>accessibility> reduce motion.

Thanks again for that advice. I have turned on the reduce motion button, but am not really sure what this facility will actually reduce? Could you provide me with the details on that. Just to let me know what will be adjusted by turning on that button? Bit confused by its function, the text on settings, general just baffled me:- 'reducing the motion of the user interface, inducing the parallax effect of icons...?'.. Explanation, please...?

When you open apps instead of having the parallax effect it is more of a "fade/gentle" movement. If that motion didn't bother you, it is simple enough to turn back on.
