Q: Find my iPhone had a location that was a day old??? Anyone know why

So you are wondering why you are getting a notification from Find My iPhone that is an old location? This is because Find My iPhone cannot locate the device for some reason.
A gray dot means it’s offline. If the device was recently online, you also see the time it was last located. If the device has been offline for over 24 hours, you see “Offline.”
