Dec 20, 2015 11:53 PM in response to gaurav8326by macjack,If you are referring to /Library and /System Library, they are now protected by SIP(System Integrity Protection) from ourselves. It is not advisable to disable SIP.

If you still feel like mucking around Target Disk Mode ignores permissions, if you have another Mac to boot from.
