    Hi pareshfromwolverhampton,

Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

It seems like your iPhone receiver (earpiece) may not be working. I'd recommend going through the steps at If you can't hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound isn't clear on your iPhone before looking at a possible hardware cause.

After trying these steps, you may want to contact Apple Support for help if the symptom(s) continue:

If you've tried these steps and there's still no sound or poor sound quality from your iPhone, contact Apple Support.

    Best Regards.

Hi Jeremy, it's not that I cannot hear the person on the other end, the voice tends to have a vibration, so the louder they speak the louder the vibration is.

I have adgusted  volume buttons also while on the call, yet the same?

It is as though the ear piece mesh is causing the vibration. I have read other posts about this, and one person has changed their handset 4 times and still has the issue. The odd thing is that the posts are not on here, they were found on the net when I typed in iPhone 6s Plus ear piece vibration?

    Hi Jeremy

Thank you for your reply again. I have been down this route already with the other 2 phones, looks like I will have to do the same again.

What I have noticed of late though, is that it is not all calls now? I have had voice calls last couple of days and they have been fine if not perfect (no vibrations in the voices). The only thing I can think it could be now, is that, when people on the other end are using loudspeaker while on the call to me / hands free.

I think before I go to Apple support and return this mobile, I will try to get people to call me using hands free / loudspeaker, and then get them to call me with their phones to their ear, see if this helps, but thanks again.

    Regards

    PK
