is there a way on iCloud photo library to delete photos on my iPhone (low on space) but keep them on my macbook?

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), iPhone 5

    If your iPhone is syncing with iCloud Photo Library, any photo you delete from your Phone will be deleted from iCloud Photo Library as well.

    Keep a second Photos library on your Mac, where yu store the photos that you want to archive, and that is not syncig with iCloud Photo Library.

     

     

    Another way to save storage on your iPhone would be to use the "Optmize storage" option,  Then only smaller thumbnails would be kept on your iPhone, and if you want t view a photo full size or edit it, it will be downloaded from iCloud Photo Library.
