They are individual commands and you press enter after each line.

Dec 22, 2015 10:52 AM in response to scottiegby Loner T,Change "rdidk0s2" to "rdisk0s2". Internet Recovery may not have hexdump command. You will need to boot into normal OSX.

Dec 22, 2015 11:41 AM in response to Loner Tby scottieg,Thank you, Loner T. I corrected that typo but still got the error about hexdump. Remember I am unable to boot into normal OSX now, following my attempt yesterday to reinstall from usb drive recovery, which seems to have gotten corrupted. Your option 2 yesterday was to run those commands to see if I can boot into Windows. Should I still try that?
BTW, you have spent a lot of time helping me with your responses. Please let me know if I have gone too far in asking for your help. Should I take this to an Apple Store? (although the closest one to me is 100 miles away).

Dec 22, 2015 12:04 PM in response to scottiegby Loner T,No worries. Let us try to fix it. If we cannot, we can jointly decide when to stop and make the 100 mile trip. I do not think it is time yet to give up.
If sudo works, are you in normal OSX or in recovery console? Try to post the output of
sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

Dec 22, 2015 4:49 PM in response to scottiegby Loner T,This looks much better. Can you power down, power up, and use the Alt/Option key? If you see Windows try and select and boot from it.

Dec 22, 2015 5:30 PM in response to Loner Tby scottieg,The good news is that Windows was listed there and I was able to select it.
The bad news is when it started into Windows, it said "Missing operating system"

Dec 22, 2015 5:35 PM in response to scottiegby Loner T,It is much better. Do you have the Windows Installer media? If yes, you will need to run Windows Startup Repair.
