Dec 23, 2015 12:58 AM in response to Terence Devlinby AmyCubed,Thanks for replying! How frustrating!
When you say, why I'm keeping both, I didn't know there was 'both'. I thought it was just one library that they both use?
If there is 2 libraries, I can surely delete the old one and everything's fine? If I 'show package contents' on the migrated library, is there something I can delete in there?
I'm struggling to see the point of the new Photos app right now!

Dec 23, 2015 1:07 AM in response to AmyCubedby Terence Devlin,★HelpfulIf you're struggling with Photos then hang on to iPhoto for a wee while. It might make sense to go back to it.
There are two Libraries. They share the same original files, but everything else is quite independent.

I just feel there should be an option when deleting photos, that you can delete the original file.
