Q: Slow Internet with last 2 OS X El Capitan updates; any browser I use has problems "resolving host"

The last 2 El Capitan updates have progressively slowed internet browsing, regardless whether I use Safari (slowest) or Chrome. It appears that the block comes with "resolving host"; once a site loads hyperlinks from the site are much faster, but it can takes several seconds to start loading a site, even this (Apple) site. Browsing is now faster on my iPad than my iMac!

If your internet's operating more slowly than normal, as well as more slowly than other devices on the same network, there may be an issue with your Mac's DNS configuration. The article linked below provides information that can help restore proper functionality to your Mac's internet connection.
