Q: I've downloaded an audio track onto my iPhone 6, how do I transfer it to my iPod

If you have an iPod touch (which is an iOS device), you can download past purchases to it.  To get the music on any other iPod, you would import it to your iTunes library on your Mac and sync to your iPod.  You can set your iMac up for automatic downloads to manage purchases in the future.  Here are some resources to explain:
