    Hello JohnPieper,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

If a specific app on your Apple TV is crashing, then you can start troubleshooting the issue by deleting and reinstalling it.

    Delete or hide apps

    1. Highlight the app that you want to delete or hide.
    2. On Siri Remote or Apple TV Remote, hold down the Touch surface until the app starts to jiggle. On other remotes, hold down Select.
    3. Press the Play/Pause button. On Apple TV (4th generation), the option to Delete the app appears. On Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation), the option to Hide This Item appears.
    4. Select Delete or Hide This Item. You can't delete apps that came with your Apple TV, such as Movies, TV Shows, or Photos. If Restrictions are on, you might need to enter your passcode.

To download an app again on Apple TV (4th generation), open the App Store and go to your previously purchased apps. On Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), you can also hide your purchases in the App Store, so that you don't see them on the Purchases page.

Arrange and hide apps on your Apple TV

    Take care.
