Q: Having trouble getting playlists to show up on my iphone. I have already set up Family Sharing and can see the playlist on my other Mac (I have 2). I also have 2 iphones and cannot get the playlists to show up on the other one.
I have 2 macs. Let's call them A and B.
Each Mac has an iPhone.
I want to share the playlists on Mac A with the iPhone attached to Mac B and have been unsuccessful
I have activated Family Sharing and can see the playlists from Mac A on Mac B
Have been unable to get them to show up on either the iPad or iPhone connected to Mac B
Have been successful seeing the playlists on iphone connected to Mac A
iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 8.1.1

Read the guide carefully first.
Next, Ensure you have the same Homeshaing account (Apple ID) entered on both A and B.
Enable sharing from with in the preferences.
Each library should appear and look like a "house" icon in the upper left area of iTunes (on both A & B).
Select the library that has the playlist. Once the Library loads, select the playlist view.
Select the playlist you want to import.
Choose the "..." area with your mouse cursor and select "import playlist"
The playlist should sync to the target Mac. Under sync settings of the iPhone, choose the playlist you just imported and press "sync."
