Dec 25, 2015 8:20 PM in response to shivafeb17by Kenskid,You pretty much did everything to troubleshoot. If you haven't already, unplug all devices, modem, usb stuff, printers...even usb mouse and keyboard. Try starting up again.

I also tried resetting SMC ... as mentioned in OSXDaily... I have bootable USB Yosemite. Since I cannot access Start Up disks, I cannot do anything with it..

You say all those keyboard combinations are NOT WORKING. What does that mean? If they are truly not having ANY EFFECT AT ALL, it may very well be a bad keyboard.
