Q: Family sharing

I have to use my password every time I want to download an app or song on my son's iPod with family sharing. I didn't need to do this with my other kids' ipods. What setting do I need to change? Thank you!!

iPod touch, iOS 9

Approving purchases with Ask to Buy

You can turn on Ask to Buy to require approval for purchases initiated by any family member who is under 18 years old.*

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    1. Tap Settings > iCloud > Family, and tap your family member's name.
    2. Turn on Ask to Buy.

    On your Mac

    1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud.
    2. Click Manage Family and select your family member's name.
    3. Select Ask to Buy.

Ask to Buy is enabled by default for any children under 13 years old, and can be enabled during the setup process for any children 13-17 years old.* You can't turn on Ask to Buy for adults.

If you don't wish to be billed for purchases initiated by a specific adult family member, you can remove that family member from the family group.

*Ages may vary by country or region.

Thank you for your help but Ask to Buy is already on. With my other kids, I could download several songs that I had previously purchased but with this iPod, I have to type in my password for every song. I thought I might have chosen the wrong setting somewhere on his iPod?
