Q: I want to change my email on the email application.
I just changed my email linked to the email application on my mac, and I want to set the new one as the default. It still has my old email synced to it, but since I deleted it, I don't want it there anymore. How can I get rid of it? When I click on the email application, on the top right corner, it says 'login failed'. It keeps on telling me to verify my old account, but like I mentioned earlier, I deleted it. I was able to change it on my phone, but I am not sure on how to do so with my mac. Please help!

Just what did you change?
Did you:
Update your Apple ID email address
Change your Apple ID using the steps below:
- If you're signed in to iCloud on any of your devices, sign out.
- Sign in to your Apple ID account page.
- In the Account section, click Edit.
- Below Apple ID, click Change Email Address.
- Enter the email address that you want to use as your Apple ID and click Continue. A verification code will be sent to your new email address.
- Enter the verification code from the email into the fields provided and start using your updated Apple ID. Didn't get the email?
- After you update your Apple ID, you need to update your Apple ID in each service that you’re signed in to.
Or did you create a new ID?
