Q: Blank screen, doesn't boot into safe mode - how to restart my mac
Hello, I have a MacbookPro, which just suddenly won't boot. I believe the problem - from what i have read - is that the memory is just too fulll. I tried to boot into Safe Mode, but of course it doen't work. The screen shows a little bar like it's loading but after a while goes back to the same blank screen and nothing happens. I tried waiting half an hour but nothing changes. I haven't tried running Disk Utility in Recovey Mode because I am afraid of what will happen to my files. Unfortunately, I have unwisely postponed backing up files and now I am afraid of doing anything that my fry them all without me even realizing. Can you suggest any solution that is as safe as possible? I do not have a Thunderbolt Cable.
Thank you
MacBook Pro

If you think that the MBP storage is full and thus not allowing you to boot it, try Target disk mode:
