Q: Hide Running App Icon from Dock?

Kind of an odd request, but I'd like to be able to keep a specific app's icon from appearing in the dock when it's running. Is this possible, or would this be a security risk? I suppose it would help a shady app if it was running unnoticed to the user. My reason is I use Team Render from Maxon to leverage the other Macs on the network, but people like to quit the app when they see the icon.

Either it's the fear of the unknown, or they're afraid their machine will bog down. Some of these users are mainly social media types which use a fraction of the computing power so they'll never notice the rendering in the background. This would just save me the hassle of having to explain it to every person.

Thanks.
