Q: shared pictures

Ok, so I selected a bunch of pictures from my Photos library to share on iCloud and they finally showed up on my other devices. Now I want to go and share some more pictures, but how do I know which pictures I have already shared? There doesn't seem to be any indication in my library that any of my pictures are already a part of a shared album. Is there something that I am missing?

    Thank you for using Apple Support Communites. 

     

    I see you are looking for a way to see which pictures from your Photos library have been shared. Typically, Photos will not identify which images have been shared because they can be shared multiple times and to multiple albums. You may want to look at iCloud Photo Sharing, if you aren't already using it. You can set up a shared album and then continue to add or remove photos to it's maximum of 5000 photos and videos. You can see in that album what photos have already been shared to avoid duplication. Take a look at the following FAQ for the features of iCloud Photo Sharing:
