I understand that you are having an issue with your iPod nano. The playback seems to be stuck at a certain time and only on one Audiobook from Audible. Let's take a look another troubleshooting step to get this working.
Now you said you have restarted your iPod, but have you restored it by using iTunes on your computer. Take a look at the link below to restore your iPod and the sync the content back again to see if it gets stuck at the same place.

That is strange as a restore would fix that if after the other steps you took didn't take. As far as additional troubleshooting, the only thing I can think of is to try in a different user on your Mac. Take a look at the article below for more details.
