Q: My mini has a greyed out window that says no matching logins and the mini is frozen. Please help

If you have some idea which operating system you are running, that would be helpful. You can figure it out by booting into safe mode (holding command and S key) and taking note of the Darwin version. A Darwin -> Mac OS X guide is here:

That will help us better know what options you have. Note, Mac Minis significantly changed July 20, 2011, when they came prebundled with the first non-CD prebundled operating system, 10.7. If you can figure out whether you have the older or newer version of Mac Mini that would help too:
