Q: iPhone 5 Apple Music/iTunes Match not working correctly?

iPhovne 5 iOS 9.2. Have Apple Music, but I can't get iTunes Match to match songs or upload my own. No access to Mac/PC atm, is it not possible to use the service without?

You need  a computer to match or upload you own music to your iCloud music library. You can use Apple Music to stream or download music from Apple Music.

After 3 hours of phone calls to support and many search's, i somewhat came to that conclusion, but none of my songs on my music app seemed to have been matched?

INteresting that no matter how many times I described the issue, apple/iTunes support couldn't just confirm that simple part. I must have said I don't have a PC avialable at the moment, at least 20 times.

another interesting thing is the uploading to iCloud part, which is why I got the service in the FIRST PLACE, was advertised in my iCloud settings on this phone, without mention that you cant upload from iOS.

Pretty sketchy business practices Apple. if a app, made by independent devs can hold my music for free from my mobile device, yet this "cloud" service is still can't do something simple as that(nevermind the thousands made from this service. How about the millions they apparently wasted in financing this awful "storage service"), I can see more lawsuits and less people willing to put up with this BS.

But thank you Sir, for confirming what 5 apple "Tech" support and 3 iTunes "specialist" couldn't.

****, most of em didn't even know what the service was. Can I have that job?
