Q: konica minolta magicolor 2400w does not work after update to Yosemite
I bought IMAC 1,5 years ago with Mavericks software. I had a fine working printer Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400W. There were no drivers for OSX for this printer. I found drivers on the website lunixfoundation.org which I installed : Foomatic-RIP 4.0.6, GPL Ghostscript en m2300w-0.51.uni.
The printer worked perfectly !
A few days ago I updated to Yosemite. When I tried to print I got the message : "FILTER" FAILED.
I made a reset and re-installed the drivers, but no result !
I saw on an earlier discussion that another Foomatic-Rip was available, but it didn't work for my m2300w-0.51.uni from Lunix.
Can you help me to solve this problem ?
My printer is still in a very good state and I am not intended to buy another one.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

There really is no good solution to this problem. Although I do not like to recommend relaxing sandboxing/security, that would seem to be the best way at present. Please see the post with instructions in this post. That should allow you to print again.
