Q: icloud

I have 2 i-macs .  I older mac w/10.5 version, 1 newer mac w/10.11.2 version

 

I would like to know if I can transfer the pictures I have from the old one to the new one with icloud.?

iMac G5 (20-inch iSight), Mac OS X (10.5.8), My other mac is version 10.11.2

    Your older Mac cannot access iCloud. In any case the easiest way to transfer files is to set up File Sharing so that there is a direct connection over your local network and the internet is not involved, so it's much faster.

    It was written for Leopard and Snow Leopard but the process is presumably much the same on your newer Mac.
