Q: iOS 9 Push Notification Problems

Apple seems to have changed the way notifications work sometime in the last year.

I have a 6+ and now also have a 6S+. I setup the 6S+ with the backup from the 6+ and once that completed, the notifications on the 6S+ didn't work. The solution? To either setup new or reset settings. Resetting the settings works until I turn on the 6+ then the 6S+ notifications quit working until I turn off the 6+ and reset settings on the 6S+ again.

I then verified the same exact thing happening if I tried restoring the backup from my 5S to my 6S+. The notifications work on the 6S+ until I turn on the 5S and try and use it. Once I turn off the 5S and reset the settings on the 6S+, the notifications will start working again.

sseriously apple Customer service is very bad, very bad, they no listening to any of ours problems

This si a workaround and only for restored environments. The problem is present also if the iPhone is configured as new. Apple please solve the problem!!!!!

January 14th and still the same issue. I own a 6s and no push notifications either. Whether for restoring back up or set as new.

is Apple going to address this issue any time soon?

I have an iPhone 5s and same problem.  Not seeing my Reminder Notifications has a huge impact on my already hectic life!  I cannot believe Apple is not releasing a fix for this as it has such a huge impact on peoples lives literally!  Apple has reallly disappointed me.  I am ready to go back to my android!  I have posted feedback via the link provided on this thread and I suggest everyone else with this issue do the same so we can put major pressure on Apple to FIX THIS!

Hi! I've the same problem since Tuesday 2016.02.02. Suddenly What'sapp and Facebook notifications have stopped working. I've read an article, i'ts a IOS 9 bug, but we need a fix, IOS 9.2.1 doesn't fix the problem. I've tried all the possible solutions! Please Apple help us

even worse: i can live without fb and whatsapp, but not without Siri! asking her on the car to make calls, set timers, open such app, play a song,became a NO NO, where she says there's have been an error and won't do any of those task!!!!

I have the exact same issue:  I have a 6s plus, updated to an ios 9.2.1.  facebook notification freezes!! yikes. not working anymore, so frustrated.  I tried to go on facebook notification on my husband's 6 plus, he didn't update it at all, facebook notification works just fine.  So the issue should be resolved soon APPLE!!  this is so frustrating.

Facebook was never the issue for me. Whatsapp is my worst nightmare. And this month it got even worst! Randomly I was receiving whatsapp notifications. Then after 10pm to the next morning it stopped. And since yesterday... NOTHING.

It's taking too long for them to work on something! I was thinking about searching a way to rollback to iOs 8...

Seriously guys... we're at the end of February. If they don't fix within a few weeks, I'm done with Apple and I'll go for the Android. I may lose security, but at least the thing will work and have battery!! What's worth having great security if things just don't work and the battery drains like water?

How much available space do you have? I've solve my problem uninstalling some apps, now I've 1.5GB free and notifications come back automatically, before this operation I've had a lot of problems with the update of Google Maps and other heavy apps. Try to clear some space on your Iphone.

if this reply is to me, ill say i have 43.2gb out of 55.5 i total. have not upload everything again in asei needed to reset the phone. AGAIN!
