Q: publishing photo albums

It was easy to export an albumn to my website using Export in i{hoto. But this facitity is not in Photo. Great loss. What do I do know?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

    iPhoto is still on your Mac and you can re-install it if you want to.  Other than that, if you are using Photo, unfortunately, you need to drag the Albums or Photos from the Photo app to your desktop and then put them into iWeb.

     

    That is the problem with using an application that has not been updated for 6 years and is now unsupported - technology moves on, which means that it does not work as well, if at all in some cases.

    Thank you. I have re-installed iPhoto but with a new Photo Libary and by copying in an Albumn I can publish that to the web using iPhoto Export/Web as before.
