    Hi Chris,

Here are the instructions for turning the Zoom feature off on your iPhone:

If your Home screen icons are magnified on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Turn off Zoom in Settings on your device

    Home screen when magnified

If you can't access Settings because your Home screen icons are magnified, double tap with three fingers on the display to zoom out.

    Settings for Zoom feature

To turn off Zoom, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom > tap the slider to turn off.

    Happy New Year!

    Thats not my Problem.

I only want to get rid off the transparent notification / information overlay (box).

I use the zoom on triple (home btn) press to get the screen more dimmed in dark enviroments.

I was setting this up on ~10 other iPhones and none of them are showing this boxes/informations only mine.

Thanks anyway + Happy New Year

That's not the purpose of the Zoom feature. Instead, try setting Brightness to "automatic" and turn off Zoom. You can't get rid of that message if Zoom is enabled.

First - i accidentally pushed the answer is correct button.

    -----

If purpose of the Zoom feature or not. I use it that way and it's fact, that only on my iPhone this boxes appear and not on any other iPhone.

You can try it by yourself. Enable Zoom for Triple Home Button press and see if the Box appears.

I don't see a setting for assigning Triple Home Button to Zoom.

You can find the setting for assigning Triple-Click Home Button here:

Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Accessibility Shortcut = Zoom

Whenever I use the home button accessibility shortcut for zoom I see the the message you are referring to. I don't see a way to turn that message off. However, if you enable zoom under settings>general>acessibility and then double tap with 3 fingers to use zoom the message does not appear. -AJ

i thought i'am the only one that is seeing the message. I configured ~10 other iPhones this way (friends, workmate, etc.) and only mine (and btw yours) is showing the message. All other iPhone are showing nothing, like the double tab with three-fingers. Curious

I was using an iPad 4th gen iOS 9.2. It started with the last update I believe. Do you know what iOS the other phones where on?

OK, I see it now. Only with the home button configured. And only when the screen is not zoomed. If I zoom the screen I don't see it. So I suspect that it's intended to be a helpful message to tell you the state of zoom when the screen is not zoomed, as it's obvious when it is.

hey - thanks for asking this, I've been having the same issue and I haven't seen this on other people's phones that I set up the zoom  function for...did you ever find a way of getting rid of the notification? I'm guessing it's a bug or a relic of a previous beta that I installed. I'm on iOS 9.3.1 right now and I'm hoping a total reinstall isn't necessary. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks
