Q: screensaver changes when I hit lower right corner

This is the weirdest thing. Sometimes my screensaver will change without my wanting it to - it often seems like it happens when I touch or drag to a spot in the lower right corner of the screen, like when I drag something to the trash. Sometimes it'll just open up with another when I restart. It sometimes looks like when you drag on the trackpad to change to a different application.

Anybody else have this happen? Anybody have any clues as to why it happens?

    Hello durantophone,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

If your Screensaver activates when you move your cursor into one of the corners, it is very likely that you have "Hot Corners" set to activate the Screen Saver. Take a look at the following article, specifically under setting the preferences.

Open System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver.

Clicking the Hot Corners button gives you options to activate or disable the screen saver when you move your pointer to one of the corners of the screen. Choose an option from the pop-up menu that corresponds to a specific corner.

    Hi Jeff D 55

thanks for you answer. Looks like it is spot on.

time for me to investigate hot corners. I've hung out on a few in my time, but I guess that's not what we're talking about here...
