deleted my mail account on iMac by mistake. Is still on iPad and iPhone so when I go to add the account back on my iMac, get message that account already exists.

Since you are getting that message, you have not really deleted the account on the iMac.
How did you delete the account on your iMac? How are you trying to "...add the account back..."?
