How do i restore one deleted contact to my iphone 6 using icloud backup?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.2

You cannot. Contacts are not part of your iCloud backup as they as synchronized to all devices using iCloud instead. Since they are sync'd any changes you made on the device are automatically recreated on the iCloud sync copy immediately.

 

If you have an iTunes backup, contacts are part of that, but you'd have to restore the entire backup - you cannot restore selected parts of a backup.
