Q: How do I find the Photostream public website link URL?

Within iOS a shared link can be used to find the "Public Website" for a Photostream album.  How is this accomplished in Photos?

Howdy mkrech,

 

When you want to send an invitation to a shared album using Photos on your Mac, you can either send the invitation by email or iMessage, or you can make the website for the album public, which is what it sounds like you want to do. 

 

To do this, in the album you want to share, click the "People" button in the Photos toolbar. Select the Public Website checkbox. After a moment the URL for the website will appear.

    Thanks.  After hours of investigation.  I finally gave up and used an iPhone to get the address. 

     

    Your response is exactly as it is now.  It took somewhere between 4 and 24 hours for the URL to appear.
