Q: can i sync my blue tooth heart monitor to macbook bluetooth?

i have a topeka panobike heart monitor and its bluetooth device. i would like to sync it to the macbook and i can't. i have forgot the device on my iPhone 6s so the macbook could find it. but i still can't find it. the reason why i want to have macbook sync to my heart monitor is because the indoor bicycle trainer program needs it synced to the computer. does anyone know if it will work??
