Q: external drive not showing on 10.10.5

I recently updated to 10.10.5 and all of a sudden my external hard drive stopped showing in my finder . Actually my hard drive is in 2 partitions, exendeded journaled and NTFS. THE NTFS partition shows in finder, while the extended journaled doesn't.

In disk utility, both partitions show but I'm unable to mount the extended journaled partition. Also when I try the external hard drive in Windows 8, the hard drive works fine . Is there anyway to fix this ?
