Q: Pages app on Itune store - Question

Hi all,

I am still trying to get the hang of this forum, so i apologise in advance if i am in the wrong section.

I have a question regarding the Pages app on the App store. I bought an Iphone 5c from Qatar in October 2014. When i started using it, the Apps for numbers, pages and keynote were coming up as free in App store and i downloaded them.

I recently had to delete all apps (to make room for vacation pics). Now when I go back, the Pages application is coming up as paid. Rest are still free.

How can i fix this? (I am in Pakistan at the moment and do not have access to an apple store)

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.2

    Hi zeeshanmir81,

If your iPhone 5c came with Pages, Numbers and Keynote for iOS pre-installed, then when you downloaded the apps, they would have been included in your purchases.  If you log in to the Apple ID that you used to purchase the iPhone, you should be able to download your past purchases.  If you have changed iTunes Store countries, the application may not be available in that country.

    Download your past purchases

Find your past purchases in the iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, or Apple TV.

Before you can access a past purchase, you need to do the following:

    1. Sign in with the Apple ID that you used for the original purchase. Use these steps to see which Apple ID you used to download an item.
    2. Check to see if the purchases you're looking for are hidden. If your purchases are hidden, you might not see them even after you follow the steps below. Learn how to unhide purchases.
    3. See if the content is available for redownload. Previously purchased items might not be available if they're no longer on the iTunes Store. Also, make sure that you’re in a country where you can redownload items. If you changed your Apple ID from one country to another, you can’t download items you purchased in a previous country.

    Redownload an app

On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    1. Tap App Store.
    2. On an iPhone or iPod touch: Tap Updates, then tap Purchased.
      On an iPad: Tap Purchased.
    3. Scroll to find the app that you want to download.
    4. Tap the Download icon  . After the app downloads, you can open it from your Home screen.

    Happy New Year!
